Dr. Frank Hinkelmann is a church and mission historian, President of the European Evangelical Alliance since 2014, and Rector of the Martin Bucer Seminary since 2018. He works for the interdenominational mission and aid organization Operation Mobilisation International (OM). He led the Austrian branch from 1998 to 2007, and subsequently the Central Europe region from 2008 to 2010. From 2011 to 2017, he was European Director of OM International, and since 2018, he has headed the international department for executive development. Frank Hinkelmann is a lay pastor in the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Austria and is active in the Evangelical parish of Melk-Scheibbs. He also serves as Vice Chair of the International Council of the World Evangelical Alliance.
